3 Day Sabi Sand Safari
A 3 Day Safari in the Sabi Sands game reserve offers an excellent chance of spotting the big 5. The name of the reserve is derived from the Sabi River and the Sand Rivers which flow through the 65000 Ha park. The Park shares a 50 km unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park.
The Sabi Sands is home to many private lodges and has something to suite anyone looking for an outstanding 3 Day Kruger Safari. The private lodges all include experiences, all meals and game drives in the morning and evening.
Experienced guides and rangers will take you in open top game vehicles to explore the African wilderness. The guides are skilled and provide insights into the environment and animals you encounter.
A typical day at a private game lodge on 3 day Kruger Park Safari in the Sabi Sands starts early with coffee, before heading off on a early morning drive as the sun rises, giving you the best chance of seeing a variety of wildlife in the cool of the day.
This is followed by a hearty breakfast back at the lodge and the chance to relax by the pool, read or simply relax. Lunch and/ or often an afternoon high tea follow, before the afternoon game drive being as it is then the cooler part of the day.
You will enjoy the game drive as the day turns to evening. Stop and enjoy a sun downer as the bush slowly changes and explore the life that awakens at night in the bush. You will return to your lodge for dinner, often served around the Boma as you recount stories of your sightings during the day.
